On March 11th 2020, The Commonwealth Africa Gala and Award Dinner – returns for its illustrious 7th year— some of Africa’s brightest stars and eminent leaders will take the stage in celebration of their achievements, work, and contributions to the prosperity and development of Africa. The CAFI Awards invite stakeholders — from up-and-coming entrepreneurs to lifelong business leaders, from seasoned investors to service providers— from civil society leaders to political stalwarts to come together for this singularly inspiring evening.
The Commonwealth Africa Awards will be held during the Commonwealth Africa Summit 2020 closing reception. The CAFI Awards recipients will be announced at the Dinner.

The 2018 Awards was presented His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Former President of Ghana and recipients from 3 Commonwealth countries includes the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association Madame Isha Johannsen, India’s celebrated Plastic Surgeon Prof Narayana Murthy and Nigeria’s Babatope Agbeyo. Past recipient includes South African Speaker Baleka Mbete, Former Nigerian Head of State General Yakubu Gowon, Sierra Leone Billionaire and Philanthropist Moseray Fadika.
