A full learning experience for Young African Leaders.
The International Summer School for Young African Leaders is an 8-day intensive learning event and a networking platform, aimed at increasing skills and readiness of emerging African leaders by sharing best practices and improving their leadership skills. The event is also designed for active, entrepreneurial individuals, who want to have an impact in their communities and organisations. The Summer School activities fosters leadership skills and international cooperation resulting in building of networks and positive societal impact.
The Summer School, started in 2005, offers leadership course that provides participants with the key skills they require to become leaders of their generation.
ISSYAL offers participants 2 full day excursions and study tours; Full afternoon and evening activity programme including sporting, cultural and fun games; and a Certificate of Participation.
ISSYAL consist of lectures, discussions and workshops that tackle the key issues faced by global leaders today and in the future. The program introduces participants to the international community of which all leaders are a part, and the ways in which changing social, political and economic conditions shape the role a leader plays within the context of current affairs.

Who is it for?
Young Leaders (18- 35year olds), from across Africa, in any field and paths of lives. Usually members of youth organizations, fresh graduates or young professionals.

Participants need to cover own travel costs. Participation cost covers –

Full activity programme
If selected to participate in the event, you will be requested to deposit 50% of the participation fee as a confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable. The pending amount can be paid before or at the event. Further details will be communicated after selection is over.
We are not able to provide scholarship or any form of discount.
