CAS 2018 Visa and Travel Information

We welcome our valued attendees traveling from abroad and are here to assist you with making your travel plans.

 

Apply Early to Receive Your Visa in Time.

CAS 2018 delegates from outside the UK and the EU will need to apply for a visa at the British High Commission, Embassy, consulate, or other visa-issuing office in their country of origin. The application for a visa must be supported by a letter of invitation for the Summit. Delegates requiring an official Letter of Invitation from the Forum should read the below information.

To obtain a visa, you will need:

  • A letter of invitation (Only available for full paying International delegates – contact secretariat@commonwealthafrica.com),
  • A valid passport,
  • A passport photo and
  • Visa Form (available on www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk).

Visa Application Tips:

If you are planning to attend, apply for your visa as soon as possible. Attaching evidence of any previous visits to our event may help shorten the application processing time. Attaching evidence of your intended trip home can shorten the application processing time.

 

Delegates from Nigeria and Ghana

Delegates from Nigeria and Ghana can receive support from our Africa Secretariat. Please contact Nigeria@gleehdfoundation.org if you need a visa to attend the Forum from these two countries.

 

Letter of Invitation Application

Request Your Letter of Invitation.

Before visiting the U.K. Embassy or High Commission, you will need a letter of invitation to attend the Forum. To receive this letter you must register and pay the registration fee in full for the Summit. As soon as your funds clear in our bank, a letter of invitation can be requested by emailing secretariat@commonwealthafrica.com.
